3- No technical prerequisites
Associate certification
This certification validates fundamental skills to deploy and maintain cloud projects.
Those who wish to show off their abilities in creating and overseeing Google Cloud solutions should apply for the Associate level. You must pass the Google Cloud Engineer exam in order to become an Associate.
It is recommended for candidates having:
1- Experience in deploying cloud applications and monitoring operations

Professional certification
This certification validates key technical job functions and advanced skills in design, implementation and management of Google Cloud products. This includes specialized certifications.
Those who wish to demonstrate their proficiency in a particular Google Cloud area go with the Professional level. You can select from nine different tests to become a Specialist based on your professional objectives.
It is recommended for candidates having:
1- Un-depth experience setting up cloud environments for an organization
2- In-depth experience deploying services and solutions based on business requirements
