Introduction
In this video let me show you how to quickly subscribe for an AWS free account. AWS provides for a free tier account where one is allowed to use the AWS services without any charges occasioned by the usage.
Step 1: Go to the AWS Website
To begin with, open your browser and then enter ‘aws.amazon.com’. This will redirect you to the main page of the AWS.
Step 2: Click on the “Create an AWS Account” Button
Go to the AWS home page and to the bottom of the first screen, there will be an orange button with ‘Create an AWS Account’. This will lead you to a page that shows you how to execute the process of creating a new account.
Step 3: Provide Your Email Address and Password
On the sign-up page, enter your account username and password for the AWS. You will also be asked for an email address in case of account verification, which is rather obvious.
Step 4: Verify Your Email Address
AWS will then send a confirmation message to the email you enter in the registration process. Go to the link that you will receive through the email and confirm your account.
Step 5: Provide Additional Information
After you have confirmed that your email address is correct, there are other details that you have to enter among which; the purpose of using AWS, organization’s name, and your country or region.
Step 6: Provide Billing Information
Subsequently, you will be required to make payments where you will supply your credit or debit card details. Nevertheless, note that AWS doesn’t take fees for usage that falls below the free tier.
Step 7: Confirm Your Identity
To make sure that you are really who you say you are you will need to choose your country or region, enter your phone number and undergo identification check.
Step 8: Select a Support Plan
Last but not the least, there is going to be a choice of a support plan. The starter plan is the most basic one and is offered at no cost for first timer users of the application.

- Always make sure you set a highly secure password for your AWS account.
