You’ll have two options to log in: either from root user or from an IAM user environment . If you have not created an IAM user, select the root user option, if available.

Step 4: Access the AWS Management Console
After you have signed in you will be transferred to the AWS Management Console home page. The console is divided into several sections, including:
- Services: It offers a detailed description of all Group A and some of the services that are offered by the AWS which will be discussed in this course in detail.
- Global Search Bar: This lets you easily navigate to any service or feature in AWS, and find out more information about it.
- Cloud Shell: This is a Shell from which you can execute shell commands.
- Region Selector: This helps in the selection of the region to operate in or the services to seek depending on the region they are needed most.
- Account Settings: This section encompasses general configurations for your AWS accounts such as, account details, organizational details, service limits & utilizability, billing portals & services, security tokens & authentications among other regions & services.
That’s it! Congratulations you are now successfully logged in to the AWS Management Console. In the next blog, we’ll provide a step-by-step of how to use Quick Start to create a workspace and database.
