The Future of AI Orchestration Lies in Nexos.ai

Nexos.ai

Nexos.ai, an innovative AI orchestration platform, has come out of stealth mode to fill a critical gap in AI adoption for enterprises. Founded by Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas, the visionaries behind Lithuania’s Nord Security, the startup focuses on making AI deployment more secure, adaptable, and efficient, particularly for large language models (LLMs).

From Nord Security to Nexos.ai

Okmanas and Sabaliauskas previously guided Nord Security toward global acceptance with its flagship product, NordVPN. While they were still in charge, Nord Security acquired a valuation of $3 billion and gained attention within the tech universe. Nexos.ai may, once again be a product that brings them to the top in the realm of AI orchestration.

The startup has raised $8 million in funding, led by Index Ventures in its first-ever investment in Lithuania. Other notable investors include Creandum, Dig Ventures, and high-profile angels such as the CEOs of Datadog, Klarna, and Wix.

The challenge for enterprises has been piloting AI solutions and scaling them up. Nexos.ai makes this easier by providing a single platform with easy access to more than 200 AI models, from well-established providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic to niche LLMs.

Okmanas explained that Nexos.ai is designed to address common issues in AI deployment, such as availability, security, and cost management. For instance, if one AI model becomes unavailable or prohibitively expensive, Nexos.ai enables organizations to automatically switch to another model without disruption.

The platform also incorporates intelligent caching, reducing costs by eliminating redundant queries to LLMs. On the security front, it prevents sensitive data from being sent to third-party providers and allows immediate access termination for former employees, ensuring robust compliance measures

A Catalyst for Nexos.ai

Partially born from difficulties related to integration attempts when developing the artificial intelligence project into the Tesonet-hosted company, web hoster Hostinger, came Nexos.ai: to develop AI so transparent yet managed operations smoothly. Cost inefficiency along with surprise operating hindrances necessitated something where a transparency-controlled product is effectively carried out as not to hurt financial interests while in motion.

This experience led to the development of Nexos.ai as an adaptive infrastructure that will be able to address real-world AI deployment problems. By March, the full operation of the platform is envisioned, and with beta testing now already underway with several partners.

Timing is everything, says Hannah Seal of Index Ventures. “The timing for Nexos.ai could not be better as enterprises become increasingly convinced that AI can transform business. The need for robust infrastructure to support large-scale adoption has never been greater, and Nexos.ai is particularly well-positioned to answer this need, bringing together the expertise of its founders with an agile team of trusted collaborators.”

Future of Nexos.ai

While the platform currently hosts everything on its infrastructure, self-hosting options are in the pipeline to cater to security-sensitive industries like healthcare and finance. Nexos.ai is also developing features to identify and reroute sensitive data to a company’s internal systems, further solidifying its appeal to enterprise clients.

It only took six weeks for Nexos.ai to progress from an idea to a funded startup, fully utilizing the potential of Tesonet’s ecosystem, as well as a talented team of 30 people. Nexos.ai, ready to shake up the new reality of enterprise AI model deployment, management, and optimization.
